2 years as an Analyst vs 3 years
What firm are you at (or know of) that does 2 years as an analyst?
What firm do you know of that does 3 years as a standard?
I know many will have a 2 year contract and invite you to a third before promotion

I thought most places were 2 years and then you can make associate after that?
That’s what I originally thought. My firm is two year contract, but most don’t make it to associate until after third year unless you’re super top bucket
Wells is 3 year analyst
This is why Leon Edwards has the most aesthetic physique
HLRX has a 3-year analyst program
Jeff 2, GS 2
Citi is 3 years as an analyst
CVP is 3 years
Just talked to a Jefferies guy and he said they get promoted to associate level 0 the third year but you don’t get an associate sign on bonus. It’s basically the same pay as an analyst 3 until you finish that year and then you get a sign on bonus and associate comp.
My group at Jefferies pays the A2A bonus before the Associate 0 year, ie. when you complete AN 2.
Evercore is a 2.5 year analyst program, but then you are an associate 1 (no need for associate 0 when you get promoted in December). Because of this, it's basically a 2 year program
Roth is 3 years
HW is 2 years
Lazard?
3 years
It’s actually 2 and A2A bonus is 100
