2026 SA Recruiting - PCA

Currently a non-target student looking for 2026 roles. Really interested in PCA and secondaries—anyone know which firms with these groups are still recruiting? Also, for IB in general, what banks or groups are still running processes?

Any leads or tips would be huge. Thanks in advance.

For 2026 Summer Analyst recruiting, especially in PCA (Private Capital Advisory) and secondaries, it's essential to stay proactive and leverage networking opportunities. Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some tips and insights:

  1. PCA and Secondaries Recruiting:

    • These roles are often niche and may not follow the same structured recruiting timelines as traditional IB roles. Networking with professionals in these groups is critical. Reach out to alumni or connections at firms known for PCA and secondaries, such as Evercore, Lazard, or Greenhill, as they often have specialized teams in these areas.
  2. General IB Recruiting:

    • Recruiting timelines can vary significantly by bank and region. Larger bulge bracket (BB) and elite boutique (EB) firms often complete their processes earlier, while smaller boutique firms may still be recruiting. Keep an eye on job boards, LinkedIn, and firm websites for updates.
    • Networking is key—attend coffee chats, informational interviews, and events to stay on top of opportunities.
  3. Actionable Steps:

    • Leverage WSO Resources: Use the WSO Company Database and forums to identify firms still recruiting. Threads like "What Banks Are Still Recruiting for SA [Year]?" often provide real-time updates from the community.
    • Prepare for Interviews: Utilize resources like the WSO IB Interview Prep Pack to refine your technical and behavioral skills.
    • Target Boutique Firms: Smaller firms may have more flexible timelines and could still be open to applications.

If you're looking for specific firms or groups, consider reaching out to professionals in those areas directly or checking WSO threads for the latest updates. Good luck!

Try WB PCA (sits in NYC). Small but really solid shop with really nice people, fairly certain they haven't ran their process yet as I have a hard referral there and haven't heard from them yet. I know EVR PCA process is in progress to an extent but I think they do multiple waves and I know they started relatively recently. PJT done, Lazard and Jefferies mostly done to my knowledge.

good luck, secondaries are dope.

Appreciate the response. Got faded by Evercore and Jefferies unfortunately,  I've been trying to get in touch with people at WB Sponsors and PCA since November but haven’t gotten any responses.

Are there any other shops that you know still have processes going?

I'm afraid that's really the limit of my knowledge as to timelines. Maybe try Piper Sandler or Lincoln.
