2nd Phone Interview or Not?
I had a first round phone interview late last week and the interviewer said that 2nd rounds would be sent out in a few days (2-4 days ago). I was in the city for another interview for this year (the interview was for 2019) and met with the team for a few hours. On the phone interview the analyst basically said that I was moving on, but have yet to receive an email about the next round. I sent an email yesterday and haven't received a reply. Did I get cut?
Hard to tell, every bank operates their process differently. Keeping fine tuning your interviewing skills and resume until you are offered on the spot. Worrying about getting dinged or not will not help.
Yea, it's more irritation that they said they would let me know soon and that I was moving on than being cut.

I had a similar situation happen to me with a few banks when I was recruiting. Usually they ended up taking a little longer than the time period they provided.
