Accelerating firms with superday invite?
I got a superday invite at Guggenheim a few days back but I have not had many other superday invites yet and am still waiting to hear. Can I email people to accelerate my process at other firms because offers are so short to decide and there are incentives bonus on a potential offer if I do well meaning I wouldn’t even get a chance to start the process at other firms since my superday this week or I have to wait for an offer.
Typically the people I know waited to expedite until they had offer in hand. But a buddy of mine expedited Laz & PJT with his Gug SD
Yeah the thing is one of my friends had 3 days to accept an offer he got like how are you even supposed to do any process at any firm. I feel like exploding offers have become even shorter recently
Not sure if it’s super applicable but advice I’ve received before is acceleration after offer, and when they call you to say you’ll think abt it which buys you 1.5-2 weeks to acceleratw
