Accepting an internship offer over finishing undergraduate degree

Hello everyone,

I am a senior about to finish my CS undergraduate degree and I've been extended an internship offer from Citibank. I am hesitating accepting the offer because I am 3 courses from completing my degree but the program overlaps with my schedule since it's an off cycle internship. I would most likely have to extend my graduation. I have a sense of how hard it is to get into the banking industry, especially from a non-target school. This could be a huge opportunity so I was wondering if you could give me any insight on whether I should consider taking the opportunity over school or finishing my degree first. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I'll try to negotiate with the bank when I get the full contract but in the meantime I'll meet with my counselor to see if taking a leave of absence is a possibility and try to finish my degree the following year. I don't mind extending my graduation but do care deeply about getting my degree. It is a very tempting opportunity and regardless of an offer at the end, I think this could open many opportunities within the industry down the line.

Cold Calling, emailing, networking, M&A professional groups, basically unless you know somebody or depending on grades you might get a BO or MO role, also depends on your major. Hope that helps bud on the same boat here.

I hope this is better than the last batch of shit you gave me. Produced more wood than Ron Jeremy. I don't want you to yell, "Reco!" anymore. Know what you should yell? "Timber!" Yeah, Mr. Fuckin' wood.
