Adding value in the conference calls as an analyst

Hi everyone,

how do you add value in conference calls as an analyst? Say it's a team call and everyone's going through giving updates on deals they are working on. Usually as an analyst, they don't give you a separate time to go over your work and if you don't make an effort to say something, it's easy for you to sit through the whole meeting saying nothing. What do you guys do to make sure they know you're there/make sure you're adding value?

Thanks!

Simple, you announce yourself on the call. When the first female starts to speak, you stop her and let her know its "men first"

Go through your deal list, ask if any other men would like to share before allowing your female colleague to share whatever it is she thinks is valuable.
