Advice for New Banker

Hey all - I've been on the forum for a while and have seen LOTS of great advice so hopefully I can get some here! I just started out at a boutique bank that is sector agnostic. I'm working as a generalist and have worked on the whole scope (M&A and debt/equity offerings). Since it's a small bank I get paid a small salary then monthly bonuses based on the deals we're working on. My job isn't as much of an analyst role like BB's or EB's and I actually go out and bring in a few clients and when we do offerings I also have a chance to get institutions and high net worth individuals to invest. So I have the opportunity to make a killing if I get enough $$ in these deals. I've joined networking groups to meet more investors and I've also done some cold calling which obviously isn't as fun. Does anyone have similar experience with this? Any advice on how/who to reach out to? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
