Aeris Partners? Anyone heard of this place?

So I graduated a year ago from an Ivy and I've been at a middle of the road bulge bracket M&A group since then. This shop is based in Boston, quickly going through LinkedIn seeing a ton of turnover even though the historic WSO posts seem to indicate otherwise for some reason. Curious to hear what you all think? They seem to be kind of frantically recruiting

Not sure if going to a small firm like this is worth considering against my current BB gig just given presence/branding but curious to see what you all think?

good software bank. Probably do deals ranging from 25m - 400m, but given it's Saas thats decent size.

I dont know why you would switch from a dec BB group, unless u want to be in boston (Id look at Moelis Boston Tech - theyre hiring, a bunch of other software groups at bigger banks in boston as well)

Within software, yes. I don’t think hours are necessarily better to the extent you would assume.

Pay is probably bottom - middle of street as an analyst and associate but can be very lucrative as you close deals the more senior you get

Can probably also exit to some cool VC, GE, LMM PE shops in Boston

solid place to work with high quality sell-side MM tech deals (really target 100m TEV+).  Will see less deal velocity but deals will close.  Culture is good amongst juniors and a lot of the recent turnover related to other factors.  Overall would recommend if you would like to be in Boston / less oriented around prestige
