Age for the first year analyst!
How will you be looked if you are older than most of your colleagues starting as a first year IB analyst? Just for the reference, I am starting my first year analyst at the age of 26. I lost my two years because of the pandemic and graduated late at 25.
I wouldn't stress my friend, plenty of older people come through. I'll be almost 30. As long as you're not weird about it no one will care.
Started my first year at age 29…you’re fine.
People lateral into IB after stints in RE, Consulting, PE, or just after MBA. This means you might have a 22 year old fresh graduate working with a 28-30 year old. Either way, you're both just there to make a lot of money and not so much worry about everyone's path there.
24 max
I'm 27 and just started my first year back in March and will already be 28 in the next couple months. You'll be fine, just don't be weird about it and no one will care
Incoming An1 here, I’m 32 you’re fine
Can you just use the search function. There are countless posts about that
