Alix / FTI to M&A IB?
Ignore title. Currently a 1st year RX consultant at an alix / fti level firm, and want to move out of restructuring. Am interested in M&A IB, but don't know if a move is realistic.

- how should I go about making the jump?

Form a good story about why you want to move. It’s realistic if you can prove you have the modeling and conceptual down. May have to take a title downgrade but will be a competitive resume at MMs, outside of other IB candidates.
