Amount of Deals/Projects at Once?

I've always been at a boutique, so I don't really have perspective into the other areas in terms of what a low/normal/high amount of deal flow is at different levels. How many deals are you typically working on at once, and how many deals does your group close per year?

The way it works at the bank I'm at, analysts generally work on all projects in some aspect, but one (sometimes 2) will be the head, with the others support when necessary. I am currently the head on 4 deals in various stages, and co-heading one other. How does this compare?
