Application Declined After Recruiter Told Me She'll Send Me a HireVue.
I recently spoke with a recruiter from a notable MM bank at a mini career fair. I introduced myself to her, and she was impressed by my background. I told her I was interested in the Corporate Banking Program at her firm, and she excitedly told me that she would send me a HireVue and that she would review the HireVue. She gave me the condition that if I do well on the HireVue she will go ahead and send me to the next round for sure. Of course I was extremely excited. She told me that HireVues drop Monday of this week, to my surprise I checked my application on Monday and it says "Application Declined." Confused, I wrote an email to her to which I got no response. Thoughts?
