Given the complexity/specialized nature of the product they won't ask specifics on how the modeling works, but you should have an understanding of asset backed finance (aka securitization). Eg they key factors (default curves, delinquency curves, fico score) used in measuring risk in an MBS or auto securitization

Asset backed finance can be quite interesting because you get exposure to different elements of finance

You have to model cash flows to see what companies can afford if the assets are P&E
