At a Target school but with no connections
I'm a sophomore at a top ivy and am currently interning in wealth management. I'm wondering whether it would be better for me to apply for summer 2019 opportunities during this current internship without any connections, or if I should wait until August, when the internship is over, so that I can potentially use the connections I've met during this internship. I just don't think that I should ask my boss for a letter of recommendation for future work while I'm currently working under him.
