Based on previous WSO threads, here are some insights and resources that might help you with modeling tests, particularly in the context of infrastructure and renewables:

  1. Practice with Real-World Examples:

    • One user mentioned the importance of practicing with real-world examples under exam conditions to overcome mental blocks and improve performance under pressure. This approach can be particularly useful for infrastructure and renewables modeling tests.
  2. Building Models from Scratch:

    • Another user suggested starting with a blank Excel sheet, picking a relatively simple public company, grabbing the 10-K and a research report, and building an LBO model from scratch. This method can be adapted for infrastructure and renewables by selecting relevant companies and reports.
  3. Exchange of Modeling Cases:

    • There are users willing to exchange modeling cases, including prompts and Excel model answers. Engaging with the community to exchange such resources can be beneficial.
  4. Free Resources and Templates:

    • The WSO Free Modeling Series offers 9 free financial modeling lessons, including financial statement modeling, DCF, M&A, LBO, Comps, and Excel Modeling. Additionally, there are 27 financial modeling templates available in a swipe file.
  5. Additional Resources:

    • Multiple Expansion is mentioned as a good free resource for practice questions and solutions.

Okay great, thank you for this.

To confirm you do not have to build out 3 FS? Just an LBO/DCF type model test. And i assume either a solar or wind asset?

And I assume they give you operational inputs too to get to revenues, and come down to FCF. and questions on DSCR, LLCR, IRR and MoM?
