Hey guys, I'm starting FT at a MM bank this summer and will be doing round robin interviews for group placement my first week of training. Lev Fin is clearly the best group at my bank and I am really interested in the group. That being said....
Is it a bad time to come into a Lev Fin group as an Analyst, from the aspect of a probable economic downturn at some point over the next 3 years. I've read that Lev Fin groups are the most affected by this, and I don't want to enter a group that could be dealt a huge blow to deal flow after my first year.
Any input is welcome, just trying to get a sanity check on this.
