Balance Sheet Not Balancing
I've constructed a simply model in relation to a software company, and can't get the BS to balance.
The annual difference is 9.9 but I can't locate the problem anywhere?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Is the difference also in the historicals? If so, your historicals are wrong and that's the problem.
If not, hit CTRL + ~ to see all formulas (and if you hit it again it turns off) and look through all the cells in the first year and see if there's a hardcoded number somewhere.
Edit: also, unhide all rows
Unfortunately the historical balance sheets balance, it's only when I forecast from 2020 onwards where the error occurs.
However, you were right and I could eliminate the 9.9 difference..now I'm only out by 1.2.
Any tips to find this last variance?
Thanks again, you have no idea how long I've been looking at this model for!

what i like to do is
highlight all B/S items that change and thus affect the CFS and make sure they are correctly linked 1 by 1 then unhighlight them as you go along
create a new version and strip out all the drivers, then the model should balance, then add them back one by one to either balance it or find out where the imbalance lies
also would check that your NWC changes are calculating correctly
Sounds stupid and you probably have already done it, but also check for typos somewhere, or maybe you added one line to many. The mistake could also lie in retained earnings, so look at your incom statement as well.
Look out for cash flows. They should be 100% linked back to your balance sheet correctly. Most common errors are an opposite sign for WC. GL.
I've been missing one sock from my favorite pair of socks for 3 weeks now. Any idea where it could be?
Have you checked the washing machine? They tend to disappear there
