I'm biased, but I would choose NYC for deal flow, exit opps, pay, etc. In general, it's harder to break into NYC than the other cities, so it's worth starting there.
If you know what industry you're focused on, however, you're better off going to other cities. Tech = SF/Palo Alto, Energy = Houston, and Industrials / C&R = Chicago.

Thank you! I am into tech, so between SF and Palo Alto, do you know what is the difference? How are their tech team compared to other BBs and MM banks in the area?
