BB middle-office or Big 4 valuation

Hey, I am in a dilemma as recently I got two internship offers and I cannot decide.

  • Citi Finance Analyst Program (Middle-office: Valuation Control, Market Control, Risk,Treasury)- 2years

    • Pros: IB Brand

    • Cons: No direct IB/front-office experience

  • EY Valuation Internship (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) - 1 year

(After any of these I plan to do a Master in Finance)

Which one I should take, Citi middle-office rotation or EY Valuation?

My 2 cents:
-If you are considering a Masters, both programs are way too long, aim for shorter off-cycle internships at smaller banks/boutiques instead
-Don't to Middle/Back-Office if you want to land in Front Office
-EY Valuation team sits within the Strategy & Transactions Service line and not within FAAS. Better double check your offer

Being within Strat and transactions would def be preferable though right?
