Very networking intensive. A bunch of coffee chats which eventually leads to superdays.

Echoing this. Must have been six or seven coffee chats and calls with different people before getting a first-round invite. If you like Chicago (that was where they usually had all SAs) and are excited by the merchant banking model seems like a great place to start a career. Not sure how things have changed since the merger with MSD but when speaking to them it seemed like everyone enjoyed their role. They are growing their analyst class and have also brought in lots of people from top banking roles that moved over after 1-2 years as well.

Nope. Mostly just reached out to anyone from my hometown. From a large city, so I guess the pool is bigger, but it's a numbers game. People are more helpful than you would think as long as you are polished and not a weirdo trying to show off how smart you are

When does recruiting start this year? Know MSDPartners recruits in the winter but not sure how merger has changed that
