Tough to imagine how this could be done without violating confidentiality.

It's not like I can simply invite people to come chill out in my office all day. You'd need a formal background check, a door pass to enter the floor, somewhere to sit (determined by our logistics team), a computer, etc.

I know what you are asking for and your best luck would be to contact a tiny, buy side type shop that could use an extra set of hands but doesn't have the layers and layers of formality found on the sell side. I'd look into private family offices or maybe the endowment at your school or something. Good luck.
