Best Coverage Group for Restructuring Prep?

Attempting to lateral into a restructuring group for full time and was curious as to what coverage group positions you best for recruiting. I would imagine FIG would be the top because of the balance sheet driven modeling or maybe product groups. Does your SA group even matter? I assume bank prestige is more important.

How’d you go about explaining your interest in switching groups? I’d imagine it’s not really that deep going for a SA role but did they ask you about it?
