Lots of other threads on this, but WB is stronger in tech and hc, Baird in industrials. Blair overall a stronger name with better exits.

Seems like the gap is widening but would like to hear others too.

Blair pay is off the walls. On par with EBs in terms of cash, higher take-home due to COL discrepancies.

Both are the two best names in Chicago. As noted above, Baird is better in Industrials and Blair is better in Tech. I'd also say Baird is better in Consumer and Blair is better in Healthcare. I'd wager Baird has a slightly more midwestern culture, whereas Blair leans a bit more toward the classic banking experience. Blair has better exit opps, but Baird definitely has a bigger emphasis on "hire you to retire you" with more mentorship opps. In general, Blair works more days but Baird works more hours if that makes sense - weekend work is much more common at Blair, but Baird grinds during the workweek.

Both are among the better experiences you could have in finance, especially on the sellside. For the pay and COL, it really can't be beat at the junior level.
