Not at BofA but,  when I interviewed in Pub fin alot of the similar questions you would expect. (Why bankign?, Why Pub Fin?, etc.) If you are looking for good news sources.  The Bond Buyer is good.  I would also go to EMMA and read over a couple OS from this year and look at covenants that are being offered.  If you know the type of Muni's the team works on then you can look at the OS for those.  

I have heard some pub fin shops ask easy valuation questions (yes, Equity valuation questions DCF, LBO). But if you are getting techs they are usually going to be on debt metrics.
