BOFA SOPH 2023

Hello,

I am confused on if i am screwed or not. On Monday, most of my friends at my target got a hirevue at BofA for soph summer 2023.  I did not get one yet. Is this a bad sign? I have 3.7 and attend a target school. What should I do? I have not networked at BofA yet. I am diversity btw. But I am very confused.

lmao multiple people signed sophomore SAs months ago it’s going to be the same time next year for our junior SA not sure where you’ve been

I’m diversity with a 2023 BB sophomore I got months ago. Recruiting for IB (regardless of junior or sophomore SA) happens over a year in advance. In fact for my group the sophomores recruited before the juniors for their respective 2023 SAs. Also my non diversity friend got hirevues at BofA a few weeks ago so non-diversity still will get a chance it seems.

Idk where your going to school bruv, but recruiting for 2024 junior SA is going to occur during the spring and fall next year. no chance in hell non diversity is gettin sophomore summer at BB. Those programs are exclusively for diversity

2024 recruiting will begin in the spring you’re right. Also BofA has sent out HVs to non diversity for their sophomore SAs so not sure about other firms but BofA isn’t only diversity

In pretty much the exact same situation as you - I'm also a diversity candidate at a target school with decent past summer experiences, but I haven't networked with BofA and haven't heard back yet. When did you submit your app?

Definitely possible to get an offer any time of the year. Buddy of mine got GS junior SA spot in November of soph year before he even had a soph SA and then just levered the Goldman offer into a chill MM gig for his soph summer to learn. So yeah def possible just hit the phones hard and be the dude they want working with them, not sure how everyone else got HV without networking I’ve never heard of that happening before.

Actually screw me I got a HireVue 6/28 but forgot I signed up with my personal email so I never saw the invite until just now...am I basically done for or would they possibly let me get a HireVue for the next wave.
