Breaking into IB late

Hi Guys! I am a rising junior who had 4 years of setback so I am age 24 trying to break into IB. I go to a semi-target university with some work experience in finance. I worked at State Street as an Operations Analyst for 1 year and I'll be going into a small private equity firm this fall for exposure/experience. My GPA is at a 3.6 with a decently solid resume. Given my age and year in school, am I at a disadvantage trying to break into IB? I've been applying to BB banks and boutique for Summer Analyst of 2019 and have not been hearing back from anywhere.
