Can an SA offer get rescinded for a GPA drop during recruiting?

So I went pretty hard for recruiting this sophomore spring semester and managed to get myself an offer at a top BB with a relatively low GPA to start with (think around 3.5...). I was also working 30+ hours and taking relatively tough classes. I did well in all of my business classes (A) but I made the terrible decision of taking an elective completely outside of my major with no curve, mandatory attendance, assignments every week and regular quizzes/tests. Missed the pass/fail deadline because I did not realize I was fucked until afterwards. I got a C- and my GPA has tanked to a 3.4. I have no doubt I can get it back up over 3.5 or even 3.6 with a ton of effort over the next few semesters but I am worried the drop might get my SA offer taken away? When do they check? I can get it back up to 3.5 before I even start my summer.
