Not at CF but one of my roommates used to work there while we lived in the same apt. Def seems like a hard work culture environment and I was working at Moelis while I was rooming with my CF friend while he was there, so there is something to that. One thing on the CEO’s (Lutnik’s?) comments in the Bloomberg piece. It seems like he may have it backwards? I would think the Front office people should be out on the road, meeting clients, doing deals and bringing in rev/whatever the firm needs while the back office people should be chilling in the office taking care of office/organizational/support stuff. Maybe I’m wrong on this? Idk. I would think that salespeople generally are on the road, going out to find business and serve clients wherever the clients want to be served and then the back office teams (even janitors which I think are def considered back office) should be more tied to their desks/being in the office. I could be wrong. Overall though I can see why it may be not so fun to see / read about another CEO and a Bank CEO for that demanding he get more work from his employees while it seems like he is collecting big paychecks and living a comparatively lavish lifestyle. So I feel those who may not like to see this stuff. Just sharing some thoughts. Good luck all

Again, not a former CF but lived with a CFer while they were at CF. Maybe the CEO is burnt out a bit himself and could use some vacation? I would think managing an enterprise especially one as big and complex as a bank like CF may be tough. Idk
