Centerview Buyside Placement

I haven't seen an actual forum just about this. How does CVP place into the buyside after two years? Are analysts not supported at all when trying to move before the program is over? Is it feasible to recruit in your first year?

like I said in my earlier comment, close to half of the analysts leave.

You also have to think of the value prop that CVR gives. It's three years, but in the long run a year isn't much. But in return, they actually give you interesting work by assigning everyone clients and having you communicate directly with the client. So in return for giving up a year, you're doing much more meaningful work and learning much more. Even staying on as an associate is great from a compensation perspective, their signing bonus is 150k and comp is above most other EBs as well.

The only risk is burning out. They don't have the rep because most analysts enjoy the work they do there, but it's as much a sweatshop as Moelis is.
