CFA Level 1, should I ?

Hello Guys,

So I am currently a sophomore at a non-target school in Philadelphia (Temple University) next semester will technically be my first semester as a junior. I have met an investment banker associate for GS and a VP from Morgan Stanley. I still feel like I have 0 chance of attaining an IB summer internship for next summer so in order to increase the likelihood of getting a job offer in my senior year I plan to start studying soon and take my CFA level 1 exam early next year. I know it doesn't get me anywhere near what an internship would nor can I take it and pass soon enough to put it on my resume for an internship so what should I do? Is it worth the trouble? Will it increase my likelihood of attaining job offers in IB for 2025? Let me know I am open to any and all advice.
