CFA OR SIE AND SERIES FOR IB AND CB

I was just considering to take the next step and get the CFA but lately one of my friends told me about the SIE and the Series exams and how it would help me jump into IB or corporate banking and make my place, is it overall true or should i just take the CFA and pray???

You are required by the SEC to take some series exams or you literally cannot be a banker. They're regulatory certifications. What you're asking is basically - "I want to be an F1 driver, should I get a driver's license or should I take a course in how an F1 car works?". Well you need the driver's license (series exams) anyway, whether or not you want the extra course is up to you. Like the CFA, it won't really directly get you into F1 (banking) but it might help you feel more comfortable once you're in. In my view, 2 years of my life for a CFA just to be a "little more comfortable" feels and is inoptimal.

How can i pass the Series exams in Europe because it would very likely to just work in european banking so I would like to know how to manage it along with the SIE certificate

Are there any certificates that could be really helpful to break into IB and Corporate Banking besides a great networking and a master at a target uni??
