Citi - Why do I need to apply again if I already have FT offer?

I got a return offer to Citi last week (EMEA). HR told me to submit a new application in order to generate the contract + answer some compliance questions.

Why is this needed? I mean they should already have all the information they need from my SA?

What type of questions do I need to answer?

This is standard, don't worry. The questionnaire is a pre-offer survey, essentially just declarijg you're not a covered person and not dodgy etc

What type of questions more specifically? Did you receive this after your verbal offer?

Theyre purely regulatory, like you don't have bad credit, not a politically exposed person etc.

Also yes, after verbal offer, but they also send this to post-AC people who are going to get an offer before they call and make the verbal.
