Class Status on Resume Drop Site

Guys, I am a sophomore at a non-target next to Boston. Our career website gets a lot of good attention from the MM and Boutique IB firms in the area (as well as PE) but 90% of them require you to be at least a Junior to apply.

On the website, you can update your profile and choose your class. Would it be bad if I switched to a Junior and applied to a few of the offerings which only accept Juniors? I have a strong passion for the markets and know I can do the work, but I don't want to wait until next year.

Thanks

1) Go ask first to make sure you don't ganned banned from OCR and won't be blacklisted from the firms (highly doubt either of these would happen

2) Contact the firms yourself without OCR that are posted

3) Just apply anyways and see what happens. Will show motivation and desire even if you get caught.
