Confused???

I am a little confused...I saw the recent thread about 2019 SA applications is open now. I am from a non-target with a 3.48 GPA but that is going to rise this semester (3.82 this semester). I know from reading the other thread that I can go ahead and add that I have an incoming internship on my resume. The internship is in wealth management. I know it is not ideal. I do not feel like I am ready to apply given my situation. I was wanting to take a modeling class this summer and get into some leadership positions this coming fall to add to resume. I do not though want to miss the chance for a junior summer internship. Will I have time towards the end of summer into the fall to apply? Even if the internship is with a MM or boutique.
