Jpm is strong (they have Middle Market and Corporate Client Banking based there). That would prob be my top choice for LA CB. HSBC also has a small tech team and media team there, seemed to be fairly good. Not sure about anything else but those are the two I’ve had experience with.

 

Idk where it’s officially “housed”, but what they call Corporate Client Banking is closest to IB. They’re sometimes staffed on LevFin type deals in the LA office since LevFin doesn’t haven’t any LA analysts. Def sweatier than the middle market banking which is closer to your typical corporate banking. Up to you depending on what you’re looking for in a career.
