Corporate Development Comp Discussion
Would love to see who on the forum has moved on to a corporate development / strategy role and what their comp numbers are. Would also be helpful to provide context on role (associate, manager, analyst) and what type of company you went to (FAANG, sponsor portco, pubco).
For reference, I interned in corp dev one summer at a sponsor portco and TC was ~$100k for analyst out of college. Not sure if comp for these roles have generally increased recently but I thought that was on the low end for sure.

More suggestions...
I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
If you have prior IB experience you make more than if you came in out of college
Are you comparing to a fresh grad joining corp dev or one with equal years of experience but in corp dev instead of IB?

What were the hours like? $100k could sound pretty good for straight out of college if normal-ish hours / work life balance.
Some corp dev numbers in the corp finance sub forum.
industry and location will affect pay tremendously.
$100k TC for a CD analyst in NYC is terrible.
$100k TC for CD analyst is still below market in south/southeast (few cities that have economies like Atlanta, Nashville, Houston, etc.)
