Cramming for IB Interview

I have never worked in Finance before be it internships or work experience and spent my entire time in BO/Data (1.5 Years). I have a borderline BB IB interview in Pub Fin IB (Munis) on Monday after learning about it today. The interview is with the MD of the department for 30 minutes and that’s it. They lost someone two weeks ago and are apparently trying to fill this incredibly quickly. I applied for the position and the MD directly called me to interview. I’ve been told the MD goes on first impressions whether he likes and is very particular (an analyst on another team also told me he’s “insane”). I could barely tell you what the financial statements mean right now.

How should I go about cramming as much as possible over the next few days? Should I just go for basic bond analysis and very basic financial statement questions and focus on fit? 30 minutes 1on1 makes me feel like pushing for fit is the best option as there isn’t much time in that and he must know there isn’t finance in my background.

Any advise is appreciated!
