Credit Agricole CIB

Wanting to see if anyone knows anything about CACIB Real Estate Group in NYC. Their RE group is technically under the umbrella of structured finance and isn't true REIB (more lending related), but they mention in their job posting some aspects of corporate debt and equity raising.

The bottom line is, what kind of exit opportunities would one have coming out of this? Would it be possible to go into something like conduit lending or an originations group at a MM firm, or maybe some sort of credit fund? It doesn't seem too farfetched but people on this site seem to really give CACIB brand name a hard time.

On another related note, does brand name REALLY matter that much in your early career? What if you just kill it as an analyst, can't you lateral to a good firm if you make a good impression?
