Credit Risk Underwriting to Restructuring

With a background in Corporate Credit Risk Underwriting / portfolio management (Credit analysis of bank's loans and capital commitments), is it feasible to try and break into restructuring group given experiences from the creditor's perspective and underwriting the loans / syndication with the Company / debtor? Does anyone have any similar experiences? Thanks.
