Any speculations of CS bankers' outlook given the recent news on the job cut freeze from the Swiss government? Particularly in the US advisory business.

Much more targeted at all the employees in Switzerland- no one cares about investment bankers losing their jobs. More about the many employees in small towns all across Switzerland where CS has offices as a retail bank.
There are talks to sell the Swiss bank as to avoid a crazy amount of redundancies in Switzerland which wouldn’t be popular. That would make sense since UBS could probably sell at a good price + make the deal more popular in Switzerland.
