Much more targeted at all the employees in Switzerland- no one cares about investment bankers losing their jobs. More about the many employees in small towns all across Switzerland where CS has offices as a retail bank.
There are talks to sell the Swiss bank as to avoid a crazy amount of redundancies in Switzerland which wouldn’t be popular. That would make sense since UBS could probably sell at a good price + make the deal more popular in Switzerland.
