CS / UBS Operating Model
Whats the operating model going to look like? Hearing next round of layoffs is soon, and another in late October. What will we look like by the end?

They're definitely bloated pro-forma so wouldn't be surprised for major rounds ahead
Yeah my main concern. Some legacy CS teams have a lot of juniors!
Yeah isn't M&A pretty bloated?

Hearing strong rumors of large ubs layoffs next week Tues through Wed.
Not sure how credible as I've heard these in past and they sometimes are fake.
But it's being talked about.
Hope it's not too bad and best of luck to everyone.
Seems like an odd rumour. In the upcoming weeks the CS staff is going to be integrated in the IB teams so would be odd to lay people off at the same time
It's ubs side. Cs already did layoffs. Ubs needed to wait for all the barclays hires and Marco valla ro arrive before axing people. By the time they were all here it was peak August out of office period so it got.pushed to September(next week)
Makes logical sense, we’ll see. GL all
