I was recently invited for a first-round at Deloitte for their Corporate Finance division. Anyone have any insights into the general format of the interview?

I have heard that there is not really formal recruiting for Deloitte CF. Is this true? How were you able to secure a first-round?
I networked with a few individuals in Corp Fin which is there is IB division and then I was contacted last night to setup a phone interview

The office I was interviewing at delayed their whole process because of COVID - 19. My first interview had questions that were really simple and easy to answer. Out of all the interviews I have participated in, this was probably the easiest interview I had for IBD recruiting.

Might be a stupid question, but how were you able to secure a first round without networking? Is there an online portal that you submitted your app to? I have heard you basically have to network to get interviews because their recruiting process is unusual. Appreciate any help.
I had a resume drop on handshake for me school. I guess for certain targets they have somewhat of a more formal process. Hope that helps

Yeah I had mine. It’s basically the same as first round but with someone else. It’s also a little more technical heavy
