Ditch Off Cycle IB Internship for a 2021 IB SA?

Hi fellow monkeys,

I signed with a mid-tier BB to join their IBD 2021 summer internship. Shortly after, I received a 6-month Off Cycle internship from an top-tier EB – BUT, it would “run over” the BB’s SA internship period. The EB knows of my BB 2021 SA signing.

As a junior college student, is it best to: 1) Sign with the EB and leave 3 months in to join the BB in secret? 2) Choose one bank, i.e, either a) reneg the BB and intern with EB for 6 months or b) pass on the EB off cycle offer and do the BB SA internship? 3) [Other plan you may think off]

Any advice on the viability/compliance/reputation risk/ethics and any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much
