Just wondering in your experience, after coffee chat/informational interview, do people usually respond to thank you email after coffee chat? Thanks.
Sometimes, especially if the "thank you" involves you following up with them about them connecting you w/ a colleague (which you should be doing before getting off the phone)

It completely depends on how busy they are, what your thank you note said, and an endless multitude of other factors. It is not something to spend any amount of time worrying about.

It doesn't mean anything if they respond. I've got offers where no one has responded and no offers when the most senior members respond. It just depends on how busy they are.
