Dress for your day policy at William Blair
Has anyone heard about a new policy at WB that allows people to wear whatever they want so long as it’s “appropriate for your day”? Literally analysts walking around in jeans and sneakers...

It's becoming more common. My shop has a similar rule, dress how you want as long you're not meeting clients or running the risk of meeting clients. No reason to wear a suit if I'm just gonna be crunching in excel all day.
Dress for your day seems too complicated. When someone gets staffed on a pitch with a one week turnaround, do they come in wearing a gimp suit?

This is a cool trend, hopefully something more banks take notice of. I could see this being a way to attract talent.
