ER or Corp Fin in a consulting company?

I'm a first year MSc in Finance student in Europe from a target school. I took a gap year for personal financial reasons, during which I worked to save money, and couldn't get in to a finance role (usually they're internships that pay way below the poverty line). I didn't get a SA offer for this year (applying in September) anywhere in IB or high finance in general, so I want to flesh out my CV over this summer to have a better chance come this September (both for SA or off-cycles). My dilemma is: choose a role as an intern working in a big European bank in ER or corporate finance in a consultancy (Big Four, but also looking at Accenture and Accuracy)? I would appreciate any insight as to what would be better to have a better chance to go onto working in IB in CM or Corp Fin.

Thanks a lot for any advice!
