Ex-JP Morgan analyst awarded $35M decade after NYC building’s glass door suddenly shattered on her

Seems like B.S to me - she blamed getting let go in 2021 (didn't know they were even making cuts that year) by JPM on the incident that happened 6 years prior. Good on her for getting the bag I guess, but kinda an eye roll IMO. Curious to hear everybody's thoughts.

Really sad to see JPM’s $3 trillion of assets take a hit like this. Praying that Jamie Dimon will be ok🙏

Report cites her statements in court, but there is nothing mentioned about medical evidence like CT or MRI scans. Also interesting that the man on the other side of the door appeared to be fine.

ITT no one actually read the article.  She wasn't suing JPM she was suing the building owner and it wasn't even the building that JPM was in she was at a physical therapy appointment.

Multiple ways:

* the glass having enough velocity to pierce thru the skull

* the impact of the glass striking the head

* the impact of the sound waves striking the head

I am guessing her TBI is based on the last item.
