BB offices in San Francisco widely vary. Firm rankings in new York are not indicative of group rankings on the west coast. (Ex. There is an enormous difference between GS/MS TMT and CS TMT)
Similar to elsewhere--corporate development and finance roles at client companies. VC not out of the question but not something to plan for. Big range.
I've seen an several A2As leave for hedge funds.
As mentioned above, Big Tech corporate development seems to be a hot spot for former bankers with MBAs given changes in lifestyle, ability to work with likeminded individuals, and additional deal reps.
