Do I need to know any industry specific information?

No shit - you're interviewing for a highly-technical coverage team at a renowned bank??? Not only industry trends, key dynamics and recent deals/transactions mentioned, I'd think about the various FIG areas (banking, payments, insurance) and think about the key top-line drivers and the valuation methodologies

When's your interview? You're cooked if it's in less than a week.

I used to work with a dude like the above….absolute nightmare. No one said it to his face, and I genuinely think he thought ppl were cool with him, but almost everyone was repulsed by him. Don’t be like that dude
