Found New Internship, yet already included the old one in apps?
Initially I landed a risk internship at a major oil firm's trading arm for summer of 2018. Yet today I was fortunate enough to land a IBD summer offer for 2018. I think I will take the offer. That being said, I included the initial risk internship in all my applications for 2019 SA positions. How would I deal with this situation? Would I send an updated resume to the HR?

What type of applications were they? If they were online, then can't you edit your application? If you had to send your resume to HR for OCR, it might make sense to contact HR to find a way to send an updated resume. Having an upcoming IBD summer internship for 2018 on your resume is going to look very good and really help you stand out in the resume pile when the firm is selecting first round interview candidates.
